At Chappell Family Dentistry, we provide personalized dental care for all ages, from toddlers to centenarians. We recommend children first see the dentist when they turn one to establish a dental home and to ensure that healthy habits are initiated. Most adults need to see the dentist every 6 to 12 months, but based on your own needs, we may need to see you more often.
We Start with Prevention
We provide preventive care in the form of dental cleanings, sealants, and fluoride treatment. We also offer diagnostic services in the form of radiographs, full dental exams, and emergency exams.
If you are a new patient in our office, we usually begin with a cleaning and gum evaluation and take radiographs based upon the condition of your teeth. Dr. Travis Dickey will examine your mouth and teeth and provide a screening for oral cancer. If you find yourself with an urgent dental situation, we will do our best to get you in as possible for an examination and to get a plan together.
Customized Restorative Dentistry
If you have dental needs beyond preventive services, we are equipped to remove and restore cavities with fillings. At Chappell Family Dentistry, we offer both silver amalgam fillings and white composite fillings so that you can choose what is best for you based on your esthetic and financial needs.
In some cases, a tooth requires a crown to protect and strengthen it. We offer porcelain and metal-based crowns so that you can choose what is best for your situation. We can also treat gum disease in our office with scaling and root planing and periodontal maintenance.
If you have lost a tooth or teeth, we offer several ways to add to your smile. Full or partial dentures can be created to fill the void and provide you with something to chew with. We can also make a bridge that can replace a lost tooth with a prosthesis that stays in the mouth. Or, if you are interested in a dental implant, we can get you set up for the implant placement, and restore any implant in our office. We can determine if you are a good candidate for an implant before referring you a surgeon.
Please Call to Arrange an Appointment
We are happy to help you to whiten your smile if you feel that it has dulled with time, and can offer various other ways to improve the appearance of your teeth. Whatever your dental needs and wants are, we can put a treatment plan together for you that details the costs and steps involved.
If we don’t provide a service, we have a great group of specialists that we work closely with who we can coordinate treatment with. If you have any questions about what we can do for you, we encourage you to call or schedule to come in for an exam and consultation.
